UPDATE - Today (16th November) We were assessed against the LCQM criteria and we were awarded the highest award possible. We got GOLD!!!
We are really proud of everyone who has worked hard raising the profile of maths in our school.
We are currently taking part in a special maths project which is focused on ‘Numeracy for life skills’. This project is the ‘Liverpool Counts Quality Mark’ (LCQM). As a school we will be encouraged to demonstrate how highly we value the importance of Mathematics, promote positive attitudes and ensure that all our children are given the opportunity to develop their basic numeracy skills to enable them to have the knowledge and confidence to use and apply these skills in many different real life situations.
It is extremely important that we do this as a whole school, involving all pupils, staff, parents, carers and the local community.
Over the next few months we will be running exciting workshops and maths sessions that we hope as many parents/carers and the wider community will be able to get involved in.
We will update this page with lots of new and exciting maths information and activities.
