Year 1 and Year 2 have all taken part in a school 'Bake Off' challenge. Each class had to follow a recipe and make some yummy treats. They then presented their treats to our 3 judges. They talked about what they had done and the maths they had used whilst baking. Year 2 were able to talk about the price they would charge and the profit they would make if they sold them all.
The judges were really impressed with all the children and the treats on offer.
The winning classes were 1L and 2C. The class that made the most profit was 1P. These classes will all get their prizes at our next whole school assembly.
Reception classes will take part in their Bake Off challenge very soon.
