We have achieved the LiveSimply Award!

We are delighted to share that we achieved the CAFOD LiveSimply Award in September 2026.

The LiveSimply Award recognises Catholic communities that put their faith into action by:

• living simply;
• living sustainably with creation; and
• living in solidarity with people experiencing poverty.

Our journey has been inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’, which calls us to care for our common home and for one another. Through prayer, learning and practical action, our children have developed a greater understanding of their responsibility to protect God’s wonderful world and support people in their local and global communities.

Achieving this award was a whole-school effort. We are extremely proud of our children, staff, families, Mini Vinnies, Eco Council, parish and wider community for embracing the message of Laudato Si’ and helping us to live out our mission:

Love, Learn, Believe, Achieve in the Spirit of Jesus.

Although we have achieved the award, our LiveSimply journey continues. Together, we remain committed to making thoughtful choices, caring for creation and showing love and compassion to others.
